MOAR UPDATE

1. Work has been exceptionally challenging in October, for those who don't know I'm a team leader / senior software developer and this month was a doozy. Obviously I can't go into the details of which but I've fallen into some really bad habits, time to reclaim that work / life balance.

2. Family, my family had a big spat at Thanksgiving. I've only been so mad once before. I'm still not quite over it. Nobody talks to each other, nobody listens, everybody's stubborn. The problem is I still love all of them, no matter how stupid they get, it's a real problem.

3. Commissions are late. This is a problem area I need to fix. I've had one really challenging commission that has been consuming my attention, certainly further than $20 should cover. I want to make this person happy but the problem I have is I don't fully understand what they want exactly and I feel suck. As such I'll be moving off of that to do some others until I can get inspired. To those who've approved sketches thank you!

4. Art & tumblr. If you follow my twitter, my activity feed here or tumblr itself you'll notice that I still post stuff regularly there. The thing is the Android app is actually pretty good so I can post stuff on the bus. I've also been doing a lot more traditional stuff while I cook or do chores around the house. I haven't really been doing that much digital work lately. I post a lot more frequently there than here but you know what, you all here on deviantArt are like another family.

UPDATE

Had some family BS pop up that took my attention away, I've never been so mad in all my life. Anyway, the next batch of commission sketches are heading out soon. Thank you for your patience!

UPDATE
I managed to catch a cold so I've been out of it for a few days, I'll be playing a bit of catch up over the next few. Sorry I've been so quiet lately

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip...

No, wait, that's Gilligan's Island. The truth is sort of two fold:

1. I am the team leader on a development project and things got BIZ-ZAY this summer. It didn't leave me with a lot of down time, when I had it I was usually out or asleep instead of drawing.
2. After having diverted attention away from deviantArt it got harder and harder to come back as there are a jillion updates and it is kind of intimidating, I'm sure you all know that feeling!
   

It's not like I was completely offline, my tumblr timeline shows that, but it was just easier to pop on there and blog a little from my tablet/phone than it was to post stuff here...

But enough about that, I have a bunch of new art to post soon as well as a late kick off for the Bunny Girl Art Jam (which, of course, if you are still interested in comment below!). I am really sorry the previous jam was abandoned, that was my bad and I left people hanging, which is the worst. Nuts to that, not gonna happen again any time soon. Hopefully I can start getting caught up with things here in the coming weeks!

I'm opening commissions again to get back into the habit of drawing regularly, this will help me out in a couple of ways so I'll be opening 10 $20 commission spots. If you are interested either comment below or send me a note:

• 8.5 x 11" digital file
• +$10 for additional character (no more than 3 though)
• Payment via PayPal

The kind of work I do should be self-evident from my gallery, so obviously if you want something like what you see already it shouldn't be a problem. Either way we can work out the details.
